I use the following self-hosting services for private needs:
Matrix
Matrix is a federated chatting software.
Setup
Matrix can be installed via pre-built packages in Pacman. Below is a list of useful tools in the Synapse setup:
- The matrix webpage on Arch wiki. does not have a lot of information.
- The install.md file on the official repo. talks a lot about how the installation is but does not provide a lot on the configurations.
Clients
A list of clients can be found at here.
Nheko =
Nheko is a c++/qt client. Can be installed via yaourt.
RiotX
RiotX is the next-gen riot.im client. Seems pretty good right now.
MediaWiki
MediaWiki can be used as a personal note-taking/knowledge management tool.
